Polka Spots

Sweater: The Limited c/o (also loving this sheer option), Pants: Express, Shoes: Target, Earrings: Sole Society c/o, Watch: Michael Kors, Bracelets: Forever 21, Ring: Gifted, Sunnies: Burberry, Bag: Icing

Happy Wednesday, everyone! I hope you're having a great week so far! Today I went for a playful casual look pairing a polka dot sweater with kelly green pants, silver pumps, and a rosette bag. I love how the circular flowers play off of the big polka dots. I then added in a few silver accessories and a bold pink lip just to keep things glamorous.

On another note, Lulu's  is  hosting a giveaway for a chance to win VIP tickets to the First City Music Festival in Monterey! To enter "Pin it to win it" by uploading your road trip or festival inspired pinboard directly to their contest page here before August 5th!

Summer Suited

Dress: Diane Von Furstenberg via Crossroads, Blazer: Liz Claiborne via JC Penney, Necklace: Forever 21, Earrings: Forever 21, Sunnies: Chloe via Ditto c/o, Bracelets: Asos, In Pink c/o, Charlotte Russe, Mi Piaci c/o, Belt: Jessica Simpson, Shoes: Christian Louboutin

For today's look I wanted to put a colorful spin on my summer suiting. The last time that I wore this Liz Claiborne blazer I dressed it down with printed pants, a grey v-neck, a colorful scarf and a distressed leather bag. For today's look I dressed it up by pairing it with a coral pencil dress, a nude clutch, sky high pumps, and a leopard belt just to mix things up a bit. I love putting a fun spin on the skirt suit.

Which look is more your style? Subtle prints or Summer suiting?

Happy Monday! Thanks so much for stopping by!

Photos by: Ryan Chua

This past weekend I biked down to Manhattan beach for a leisurely day of riding along the coast, popping in the shops and eating at one of my favorite little brunch spots. I went for a casual look pairing a blue lace bandeau with a mint top and white denim cut offs. I haven't carried a backpack in years, but this one ended up being perfect for a bike ride and added a fun pop of color to my outfit.

You can watch a fun behind the scenes video from this shoot with my friend and photographer Ryan Chua by clicking here

Thanks so much for stopping by everyone! I really appreciate all of your support and kind messages. Have a great weekend!

The Green

Blouse: Ann Taylor, Skirt: Abercrombie & Fitch, Necklaces: Gifted & Sonia Hou c/o, Sunnies: Prada, Earrings: Sole Society c/o, Ring: Gifted, Shoes: ASOS

Today I went for an easy breezy summer look pairing a silk blouse with a denim cut off skirt. I wanted top soften the look up a bit so I decided to add in floral pumps, sparkly studs, and a crystal necklace.

On another note, my parents are coming into town today from the east coast and I haven't seen them in about 8 months so I'm really excited for a little quality family time. Forgive me if I disappear for a few days. I'll be showing them all of the wonderful sights that LA has to offer. Feel free to follow along Instagram as I do touristy things for the next 10 days.

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog!

Summer Jewel Tones

Dress: Closet via ASOS, Necklaces: Forever 21 & My Monogram Necklace c/o, Earrings: H&M, Bracelets: Charlotte Russe & In Pink, Bag: Olivia & Joy c/o, Hand Charm: BCBG Generation, Shoes: Shoemint "Jaysie"

Today's look is what I would call my summer uniform. A ladylike dress, a statement necklace, a visually interesting bag and a great pair of nude pumps. Dresses are chic and easy while also being perfect for beating the heat in style. Also, I decided to go for a monochromatic look by pairing jewel tones and adding in gold accessories.

What's your summer uniform?

Also, I was so excited to be one of the models for this morning's "Beach Chic" KTLA news segment! I was totally nervous but we had a great time. You can see the clip and check out the other gorgeous models here. Thanks so much to Sydne for having us.

Thank you for visiting!

Dahlia Wolf

Dress: Dahlia Wolf c/o, Necklace: Forever 21 (also loving this bib necklace), Earrings: H&M, Bracelet: ASOS, Bag: Gucci, Shoes: Charles David c/o, Hat: D&Y via TJ Maxx

I was so excited when Dahlia Wolf reached out to me about having one of my design inspiration photos come to life. It's a site where readers have the opportunity to upload images of clothing they like and others vote for it. The photos with the most votes have the chance to be recreated by one of the talented Dahlia Wolf designers and then sold. The best part? The person who uploaded the photo receives commission off of any sales. I think it's such a great concept and I can't wait to upload more inspirational photos. The dress I'm wearing was inspired by this Jason Wu sleveless trench dress. It's not exactly the same but it features the same bold seam detailing and a similar silhouette. I decided to pair my dress with strappy blue sandals, a structured bag and a floppy hat for an extra touch of glamour. I love how the bold lines in the hat play off of the dress.

Be sure to check out Dahlia Wolf if you get a chance and upload some photos of your own. I get so much inspiration just from being on their site. Also, if you love the "Keene Sense" dress as much as I do, you can buy it here!

I hope you have a great day. Thank you so much for reading!

Tailored Chevron

Blazer: J Crew, Dress: Missoni For Target (via ebay), Necklaces: Charlotte Russe and My Monogram Necklace c/o, Earrings: H&M, Bracelets: Charlotte Russe, Watch: Michael Kors, Bag: Vintage, Shoes: Charlotte Russe

Happy Monday everyone!
I hope you enjoyed a wonderful weekend! I spent most mine by the beach and even though it was overcast most of the time, I still felt an overwhelming sense of calm. The ocean has a funny way of doing that. Today, I wanted to share a colorful look with you. I scored this Missoni for Target dress on ebay a week ago and I just love the color combination. Blue and mustard isn't so uncommon, but to throw pink into the mix is unexpected and kind of refreshing. I decided to pair it with a hot pink blazer to add an extra pop and to give it a more tailored silhouette.

I hope you have an amazing week! Thanks so much for reading!

Denim Vest Dressed

Vest: Windsor Store c/o, Dress: (worn as skirt) Forever 21 (also loving this colorful option), Shirt: Custom Men's (DIY), Belt: Thrifted, Earrings: H&M, Sunnies: Chloe c/o Ditto, Watch: Michael Kors, Bracelets: Natasha via TJ Maxx, Necklace: via TJ Maxx, Hand Charm: BCBGeneration, Shoes: ASOS, Clutch: Vintage

For today's look I wanted to put a ladylike spin on the denim vest. I decided to pair it with a flowing maxi dress that I wore as a skirt by layering a shirt over top and belting it. I added a gold spiked necklace for visual interest and because it seemed to have to perfect combination of feminine and edgy. Lastly, I finished it off with  yellow and silver strappy sandals to dress it up even more.  I love taking trends that aren't usually in my comfort zone and putting my own spin on them.

Also, I'm so excited to be featured on the Moda Mob site! I'd love for you to check it out here. And if you haven't  watched my Summer Trends video with Charlotte Russe you can view it here!

I hope you have a great weekend! Thanks so much for stopping by!

Remixed

Jacket: H&M, Crop Top: Windsor Store c/o, Pants: Zara, Short Necklace: Sonia Hou Jewelry c/o, Long Necklace: Via Farfax Flea Market , Sunnies: Burberry, Bag: Sole Society c/o, Shoes: Bebe (similar here)

I never saw myself being such a huge fan of crop tops, but when paired with something high-waisted I think they are chic and figure flattering. When I spotted this great black and white racer back top online at Windsor I knew it would be an endlessly versatile piece. And I was right! This weekend I dressed it up pairing it with one of my favorite full skirts (seen here) statement earrings, and sandals. While Today, I remixed it with a silky printed blazer, teal pants, and cap toe pumps.

Thanks so much for reading my blog!
