Buried Treasures

Shirt: H&M, Sweater: F21, Jeans: Zara, Shoes: Nine West, Necklace: J Crew, Earrings: H&M, Watch: Michael Kors, Bracelets: (Assorted) Gifted, Ring: Gifted, Bag: B. Makowsky

This blue and white shirt that I picked up at H&M a while back has quickly become one of the go to pieces in my wardrobe. I find that the color goes with almost anything, and it layers wonderfully (as seen before here). I accessorized with one of my favorite necklaces and my gold arm candy and finally pulled out my spring bag that I haven't worn in months! Don't you just love pulling out a bag after you've had it stored away? It's like finding buried treasures.
Have a lovely weekend!

Just A Dress

Dress: Taylor, Earrings: F21, Clutch: Vintage, Shoes: Gucci

This printed Taylor dress does not need much accessorizing. With its red and black bold gothic print, it stands alone just fine. I decided to add some simple black vintage-looking earrings and a black leather clutch just to keep things simple.

Trenched

Shirt & Necklace: Target, Skirt: J Crew, Coat: Banana Republic, Shoes: Ivanka Trump, Bag: Liz Claiborne, Bracelets: (Assorted) Gifted, Ring: F21, Earrings: H&M

Today I wore this pink J Crew pencil skirt as the color in my outfit and kept everything else very neutral. I jazzed up my subtle striped top with a chunky statement necklace and gold accessories before topping it all off with a classic trench.

Vintage Glamour

Turttleneck:The Bon Ton (Old), Vest: Vintage (Tailored), Clutch: Vintage, Bracelets: (Assorted) Gifted, Ring: Gifted, Sunglasses: Prada, Shoes: Christian Louboutin

Today I felt so glamorous in my vintage vest and big sunglasses. I find that this vest can be worn a multitude of ways. Remember when I paired it with jeans here?  Today I decided to wear it as a dress with a turtleneck for a little added warmth. I then added leg-lengthening nude pumps, a subtle red lip, and a few gold bangles.

Color Block Me

Blouse: Ann Tylor Loft, Pants: H&M, Watch: Michael Kors, Earrings: H&M, Bracelets: (Assorted) Gifted, Clutch: Vintage, Shoes: B Brian Atwood

Today I wanted to wear my new B Brian Atwood Shoes. I figured the best way to showcase them would be by pairing them with a dress or ankle pants. Since it was too chilly for the dress, I chose the latter. I've always loved the combination of red and purple together, so I just added my go to white silk blouse and some gold accessories to achieve a simple spring color blocked look.

I do realize that this isn't my typical style; sometimes you just have to play with fashion and step a little out of your comfort zone.

Ruffles & Pearls With A Touch of Lace

Sweater: Marc Jacobs, Cami: H&M, Pants: Sisley, Bag: Alfani, Shoes: BCBG Generation, Watch: Michael Kors, Pearl Earrings & Necklace: Gifted

Friday's are more casual than most days; however they still aren't casual. So what do you do in this situation? You wear some nicely tailored khaki trousers with a detailed feminine sweater, and voila!
What’s your Friday uniform? Happy weekend!

Fancy Feet

Dress (worn as skirt) & Sash: Il Teatro Boutique, Top: Cable and Gauge, Shoes: Zara, Bag: Gianni Bernini, Necklace: Banana Republic, Earrings: H&M, Watch: Kessaris Quartz, Bracelets: (assorted) Gifted

Today I was just dying to wear these gorgeous Zara sparkly shoes (aren't they beautiful?). I decided to wear this dress (that I wore before here) as a skirt. I wanted to make it less beachy looking and more city chic. I find that when you start wearings dresses as skirts, you really maximize your wardrobe.

What do you think? Have you ever tried wearing a dress as a skirt?

Some Spring In Your Step

Skirt & Jacket: Vintage (D&N), Vest: F 21, Shoes: Enzo Angiolini, Necklace: Fairfax Flea Market, Blouse: Ann Taylor, Earrings: H&M, Watch: Michael Kors, Bracelets: Assorted (Gifted), Bag: Prada

For the first day of Spring I had to pull out this pretty little pastel skirt suit! Why, you ask? Because pastels are a must this spring. I mixed white, dusty pink, and baby blue, with gold accessories to create my first day of spring look. Don't be shy when it comes to mixing pastels; do try this at home.

Happy Spring Everyone!

Flowers and Pearls

Blouse: Kenar (Via Marshals), Skirt: Zara, Coat: ASOS, Gloves: Gifted, Bag: Gianni Bernini, Necklace and Earrings Set: Gifted, Watch: Michael Kors, Shoes: DSW

This beautiful floral print blouse is perfect for spring and fall; the pattern makes it very spring while the colors are more for fall. I though it was perfect for a chilly Monday morning. Paired with my royal blue Zara pencil skirt, and my bright red ASOS cape-coat, I am ready for the work day (and the crazy weather that we have been having).

LA Fashion Weekend at Sunset Gower Studios

Jumpsuit: ASOS, Jacket: Zara, Shoes: Christian Louboutin, Watch: Michael Kors, Bracelets: Gifted (Assorted), Earrings: H&M, Clutch: Vintage

On Friday night I attended the fashion shows at Sunset Gower Studios. With the weather being less than ideal, I decided to wear my blue ASOS jumpsuit, with my black and white tweed Zara Jacket to keep me warm and stylish. The bright hue of the jumpsuit kept me from blending in in a sea of black attire. Also, I just love the material and the lapels on this piece (and how about that cut out back?!).

The show started when Mikey Koffman, the CEO of The Gallery Los Angeles and Founder of LA Fashion Week at Sunset Gower Studios took to the stage to introduce the designers and welcome the crowd. She also welcomed KTLA 5 reporter, David Begnaud who watched the show from the front row.

The Dina Bar-El Show

The show included highlights from the collections of Dina Bar-El, Vilorija and Betsey Johnson.  Gorgeous evening dresses were prominent in all three of the collections.
